Registration
The conference registration fee includes attendance at educational sessions, continental breakfasts, coffee breaks, CME credit certificate, Friday evening harbor cruise reception and lobster bake. To register, please fill out and return the Conference Registration Form [PDF]. The Guest fee includes all meals and receptions.
Accommodations
Reservations should be made by mailing or faxing the official Room Reservation Form [PDF] directly to the Harborside Hotel and Marina. Room reservations may be cancelled by calling 1-800-328-5033.
Cancellation/Refunds
If you must cancel, please notify by phone or fax. Conference registration fee, minus a $50 administrative fee, will be refunded if notice of cancellation is received prior to 3:00 p.m. on September 5, 2008. No refunds will be granted after September 5.
Accreditation/Credits
The Maine Medical Education Trust designates this activity for a maximum of 10.00 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essentials and Standards of the Maine Medical Association Committee on Continuing Medical Education and Accreditation through the partnership of Maine Medical Education Trust and Downeast Ophthalmology Symposium. The Maine Medical Education Trust is accredited by the Maine Medical Association to provide CME activities for physicians.
Jackson Laboratory

A free guided tour of The Jackson Laboratory facility will be available for attendees on Friday morning, 9/19 at 8:00 a.m. Please register on the conference registration form if you plan to attend.

Weather
Fall is one of Bar Harbor’s most delightful seasons, though changes in temperature can occur rapidly. Maine fall weather features warm days and cool evenings. With our Harbor Cruise on the ocean, you will want to have a warm sweater/sweatshirt/jacket handy.
